Coaching Journey:

Assistant Football Coach (Running Backs); Junior Varsity Head Coach - 2023: Currently serving as the Assistant Football Coach specializing in running backs and Junior Varsity Head Coach at UW-Oshkosh, Mathe actively contributes to the team's offensive prowess and nurtures the growth of young talent.

Head Football Coach - 2022: In 2022, Mathe led Oshkosh West High School's football program as the Head Football Coach. His leadership and strategic insights positively impacted the team's performance.

Varsity Offensive Quality Control Coach - 2021: As Varsity Offensive Quality Control Coach at Winneconne High School in Winneconne, Wisconsin, Mathe played a crucial role in refining offensive strategies to enhance team effectiveness.

Football Program Strength & Conditioning Coach - 2020-2018: Mathe's dedication to athlete development was evident during his tenure as the Football Program Strength & Conditioning Coach at El Capitan High School in Lakeside, California. His commitment to physical conditioning greatly contributed to the athletes' overall performance. 

Assistant Varsity Football Coach (Defensive/Defensive Backs) - 2020: In 2020, Mathe assumed the role of Assistant Varsity Football Coach for Defensive Backs at El Capitan High School, further showcasing his versatility in coaching different positions.

Head Freshmen Football Coach - 2019-2018: Mathe's leadership skills shone as he took on the responsibility of Head Freshmen Football Coach at El Capitan High School, fostering foundational skills in young athletes.

Head Football Coach & Assistant Coach - 2018-2013: Mathe's impact extended to the grassroots level as he guided the Lakeside Vaqueros within the San Diego Pop Warner league, providing young players with a solid football foundation.

Head Football Coach - 2012-2010: As the Head Coach of the Misawa Jets in the United States Forces Japan - American Football League (semi-pro), Mathe demonstrated his leadership abilities on an international stage.

Off the field, Mathe is a loving husband to Heather and a proud father to his sons Ethan, Mason, and AJ. His diverse experiences are further enriched by his 22-year service in the Navy, reflecting his dedication to service and discipline.
