Berghammer Earns Eighth Career WIAC x Kwik Trip Offensive Player Of The Week

MADISON, Wis.- Kobe Berghammer earned his eighth career WIAC x Kwik Trip Football Offensive Player of the Week for his record-breaking performance in the UW-Oshkosh football team's double overtime win over UW-Stout.

Titans' 17-point comeback win over the Blue Devils on Saturday (Oct. 7), Berghammer (Sr. • Clayton) continued his impressive season, breaking a trio of 20-plus year old UW-Oshkosh single game records. He completed 43 of his 53 passing attempts for 466 yards and five touchdowns, also adding 105 yards on the ground and a touchdown for 571 all-purpose yards. The previous completions record of 37 was set in 2002, the passing yards record of 460 was set in 1997 and the all-purpose yards record of 499 yards was set in 2003. He threw touchdowns of 25, 15, 11, 11 and 16 yards and converted the deciding two-point conversion in the second overtime on a pass to Londyn Little. Berghammer also rushing for a 10-yard touchdown and helped Trae Tetzlaff break a school record of his own with 17 connections between the quarterback and wide receiver.
