Titan Football Announces Members of the 2023 Class
OSHKOSH, Wis—UW-Oshkosh head football coach Peter Jennings has announced members of the 2023 signing class for Titan Football.
The incoming class has achieved high level of academic success, with a combined class GPA of 3.4 and 10% of the class has a 4.0 or higher GPA.
There are 23 team captains and 11 state championships that have been won in the class as they arrive in Oshkosh this fall. Nearly two-thirds of the class earned All-Conference accolades with a total of 10 Player of the Year recipients.
Utilizing the pride of football in the Fox Valley, the Titan Football coaching staff got to work and made those important connections in the area. There are several players from Oshkosh schools who will continue their playing career at J.J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium.
Approximately a quarter of the class (25%) identifies as students of color with Wisconsin, Tennessee, California, Illinois, Florida, and the United Kingdom represented. Nearly 75% of the class comes from the state of Wisconsin.
This recruiting process includes looking at the academic, athletic, and individual character traits of each student-athlete. Each future Titan received a character recommendation by their high school coach.
The recruiting process continues for the Titans as student-athletes continue to commit to Titan football. The Titans are hitting the ground running, starting the search for the gold standard of football in the Class of 2024.
