Titans Triumphant In Peter Jennings' Head Coaching Debut
OSHKOSH, Wis.–The offense was hot and ready as the 2022 season got underway as the No. 19 UW-Oshkosh Titans football squad cruised to a 52-13 home victory over the East Texas Baptist University Tigers on Saturday (Sept. 3).
The Titans first touchdown came after a interception by Mitchell Borkovec. Junior quarterback Kobe Berghammer rushed for the first touchdown of the day. The Titans added a second touchdown in the first quarter as Berghammer connected for Trae Tetzlaff and a 14-0 lead.
The Tigers added the first points of the game in the second quarter as the Titans scored 38 unanswered points.
The Titans are on the road next week as they take on Northern Michigan on Sept. 10. Kickoff is set for 12 p.m. CST in Marquette, Mich.
