Todarello Gathers WIAC Football Player Of The Week Award

UW-Oshkosh's Dom Todarello earned WIAC Football Player of the Week honors for his performance during the Titans' 31-28 victory over visiting UW-River Falls on Oct. 28.

Todarello was named the league's award winner on special teams for the period of Oct. 23-29 while quarterback Ben Beckman of UW-River Falls was selected on offense and cornerback Michael Pierson of UW-Stout on defense.

Todarello returned a kickoff for a school-record 98-yard touchdown on the way to scoring twice and accumulating a career-best 255 all-purpose yards against the Falcons.

Todarello totaled 136 yards on three kickoff returns. His record-breaking kickoff return tied the score at 7 with 1:40 left in the first quarter.

Todarello then caught a pass and broke two tackles for a 31-yard touchdown that provided the Titans a 21-14 lead with 6:50 remaining in the second quarter.

Todarello had six carries for a team-leading 63 yards while adding three receptions for 56 yards. Four of his six rushes went for first downs while another carry went for 12 yards.
