Each week during the 2016-17 academic year, the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference will feature two student-athletes (one male and one female) from one of its eight institutions for a "Student-Athlete Spotlight" Q & A segment. The segments, presented by Culver's, will be also posted every Thursday on the WIAC website.

Why did you choose UW-Oshkosh?
I chose UW-Oshkosh because I knew that I wanted to go into business, and UW-Oshkosh has a very strong business program. Also, after I visited and met with coaches [Pat] Cerroni, [Luke] Venne and [Craig] Stenbroten, I knew that UW-Oshkosh was a perfect fit for me.

What do you like most about competing in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference? 
Every game in the WIAC is a challenge. It is the best football conference in Division III.

I plan to get a job working in technology, possibly in the Milwaukee area.

Guy Fieri. He travels the world and eats fantastic food.

What is your greatest sports moment?
Scoring the game-winning touchdown against UW-Platteville in triple overtime.

What is your favorite thing to do off the field with your teammates?
Go out to eat and watch football.

One word that describes the team?
Motivated.

Amazon.com.

A non-athletic talent you have?
IT guy.

Three things on your "bucket list"?
1. Skydiving
2. Attend a Super Bowl game that includes the Vikings
3. Win a national title

Do you have any pre-game/pre-event rituals? If so, what are they?
For the past three years, the offensive skill group has gone to Culver's prior to our Thursday evening meetings.

Your worst habit is?
Biting my fingernails.
