Ash Chosen WIAC Special Teams Player Of The Week

UW-Oshkosh running back Beau Ash was named the WIAC Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance in the Titans' 32-7 football victory over UW-Stout on Oct. 4.

In a 3-0 game early in the second quarter, Ash started a momentum-swinging play by blocking a UW-Stout punt that teammate Levi Kossow scooped up and returned 13 yards for a touchdown.

Ash later reached the end zone himself, scoring on an 11-yard run in the fourth quarter that gave the Titans a 32-7 advantage.

The WIAC also selected UW-Whitewater wide receiver Jake Kumerow as its Offensive Player of the Week and UW-Stevens Point strong safety Zach Vallafskey as its Defensive Player of the Week.
