Blashka, Myhra Voted D3Football.com All-Americans

Safety Austin Blashka and running back Cole Myhra were named to the All-America Second Team by D3football.com.

This marks the second straight year that Myhra made the second team. He scored a school-record 20 touchdowns while rushing for 1,101 yards. Myhra also caught 33 passes for 285 yards. During his final game against UW-Platteville, he ran for 194 yards on 36 carries.

Myhra, the only Titan to post consecutive 1,000-yard seasons, helped UW-Oshkosh reach the 2012 NCAA Division III semifinals. Last year, he totaled 1,589 rushing yards, 418 receiving yards and 19 touchdowns. Myhra's 3,215 career rushing yards and 41 touchdowns list second in school history.

Blashka ranked eighth in the nation with six interceptions this year. He also totaled 58 tackles and three pass breakups. During the victory over UW-Stevens Point, Blashka picked off a pass and returned it 32 yards for a touchdown. He also booked two interceptions in the season opener at Central College (Iowa).

D3football.com selected Defensive Player of the Year Cole Klotz and Coach of the Year Lance Leipold from national champion UW-Whitewater. Mount Union's Kevin Burke received Offensive Player of the Year.

2013 D3football.com All-America Team

UW-Oshkosh (8-2) ranked 11th in the final Top 25 Poll. The Titans amassed three straight winning records for the first time since 1969.
