Myhra Runs To WIAC Football Player Of The Week Award

Running back Cole Myhra earned the WIAC Football Offensive Player of the Week award for his performance during the Titans' 17-16 loss to UW-Platteville on Nov. 16 at J. J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium.

Myhra totaled 219 yards of offense against the Pioneers, including 194 on 36 rushing attempts. He gained 84 of his rushing yards in the third quarter and 55 in the second.

Myhra, who also caught three passes for 25 yards, gave UW-Oshkosh a 6-0 lead with his two-yard run in the second quarter. He then scored on another two-yard run in the third period to give the Titans a 16-7 advantage.

UW-Oshkosh entered the contest ranked eighth in the NCAA Division III by D3football.com, UW-Platteville 10th.

The WIAC also chose defensive back Bennet Wenzel of UW-Stevens Point as its Defensive Player of the Week and placekicker Zach Litchfield of UW-Platteville as its Special Teams Player of the Week.
