After walking the leadoff batter in the top of the first inning, Treml retired 10 consecutive Pioneers until allowing back-to-back one-out singles in the fourth frame. Treml, who kept the shutout intact by retiring the next two batters, did not allow a UW-Platteville baserunner past first base for the remainder of the contest.
