Run In The UW-Oshkosh Titan 5K Charity Fundraiser
The UW-Oshkosh men’s and women’s cross country teams are hosting the Sixth Annual Titan 5K Run on Saturday, August 4, at Menominee Park in Oshkosh.
The UW-Oshkosh Titan 5K has raised nearly $10,000 for charitable causes. This year the event will help fund an exercise class for people in the Oshkosh community living with Parkinson’s Disease, a long-term degenerative disorder of the central nervous system that mainly affects the motor system.
The UW-Oshkosh Titan 5K begins at 8:45 a.m., while the Kiddy Quarter (400-meter race) follows at 10 a.m.
The entry fee is $15 until July 24. After that date, the registration fee is $20. All pre-registrants receive a T-shirt. The Kiddy Quarter is free for children under the age of 10, and all participants in that race receive a prize.
Participants can also register on the day of the event from 7:15 a.m. - 8:25 a.m.
The UW-Oshkosh Titan 5K is open to all ages. Awards will be presented to the top three finishers in each age group.
