Weather Plays Havoc With UW-Oshkosh Sporting Events

Several UW-Oshkosh sporting events scheduled for this week have been postponed or canceled due to inclement weather.

The baseball team’s scheduled home game against Concordia University Wisconsin on Wednesday (April 6) has been postponed to Thursday (April 7) and moved to Kapco Park in Mequon. The Titans are scheduled to host UW-Stout in doubleheaders on Saturday (April 9) and Sunday (April 10) at Tiedemann Field.

The softball team had its Wednesday home doubleheader against St. Norbert College postponed. No makeup date has been announced. The Titans are slated to host UW-River Falls on Saturday and UW-Stout on Sunday at the UW-Oshkosh Softball Park.

Women’s tennis was forced to postpone its home match against Ripon College on Thursday as well as road contests scheduled for Saturday against North Park University (Ill.) and Elmhurst College (Ill). UW-Oshkosh will now travel to Elmhurst College on April 23, while the matches against Ripon College and North Park University have yet to be rescheduled.

Men’s tennis postponed its Wednesday home match against Ripon College. No makeup date has been announced. The Titans were also scheduled to host Marian University on Tuesday (April 5), but that match has been moved to Friday (April 8) at the Oshkosh YMCA Tennis Center.

Men’s and women’s track & field were scheduled to compete at UW-Whitewater’s Rex Foster Invitational on Friday, but that meet has been postponed to Sunday.
