Run In The Titan 5K Charity Fundraiser

The UW-Oshkosh cross country teams are hosting the second annual Titan 5K Run on Saturday, July 26, at Menominee Park in Oshkosh.

The Titan 5K raises money to help end the suffering of 27 million people worldwide who live in slavery. Proceeds go to LOVE146, a nonprofit organization working to abolish child trafficking and exploitation through prevention and aftercare, and Free the Slaves, which helps slaves break free and changes the systems that allow slavery to exist.

The Titan 5K begins at 8:45 a.m., while the Kiddy Quarter (400-meter race) follows at 10 a.m.

The entry fee is $15 until July 14. After that date, the registration fee is $20. All preregistrants receive a T-shirt. The free Kiddy Quarter is for children under the age of 11, and all participants receive a prize.

You can also register on race day from 7:15 - 8:25 a.m.

The Titan 5K is open to all ages. Awards will be presented to the top three finishers in each age group.
