UW-Oshkosh Ranked 19th In Directors’ Cup Standings

UW-Oshkosh totaled 247 points during the winter season and now lists 19th in the race for the NCAA Division III Directors’ Cup.

The standings, sponsored by Learfield Sports, award points for each school's finish at the NCAA championships. Points are awarded for up to nine men’s and nine women’s sports.

The Titans scored with three teams during winter. Women’s track & field earned 100 points for its indoor national title. The men’s track & field team received 90 points for its second-place finish, while wrestling tallied 57 points for placing 17th.

UW-Oshkosh scored 128 points during the fall season to compile its total of 375.

Williams College (Mass.) leads the standings with 785.75 points. Middlebury College (Vt.) is second with 665.75, followed by third-place Emory University (Ga.) with 635.75, fourth-place Johns Hopkins University (Md.) with 564.50 and fifth-place Massachusetts Institute of Technology with 549.75.

Five WIAC schools are ranked in the top-24, including #7 UW-Whitewater, #10 UW-Eau Claire, #13 UW-La Crosse and #24 UW-Stevens Point.

A total of 289 programs have scored points in this year’s standings.
