Bio

Luke Duckett enters his second season as a UW-Oshkosh Men’s Basketball Assistant Coach in 2023-24.

During Duckett’s first season at UW-Oshkosh, the Titans went 24-7, advancing to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Division III Championship after winning the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference regular season title.

Duckett came to UW-Oshkosh from Illinois College where he served as the assistant men's basketball coach. In his lone season at Illinois College, he helped the Blueboys reach the Midwest Conference Tournament for the first time since 2011. Duckett came to Illinois College from Carroll University in Waukesha, WI where he had spent the previous two seasons also as an assistant coach.

Prior to his years coaching collegiately, Duckett was in Denver, CO serving as the Director of Basketball Operations for the Premier Basketball Club Nike EYBL Program. During his time in Colorado, Duckett coached the program's top high school travel teams while serving as the program's director of recruiting, director of camps, and the coordinator of their Skills Academy.

Duckett, a native of Brookfield, Wisconsin, was a former basketball standout at Brookfield Central High School where he also began his coaching career. Duckett attended the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and graduated with a degree in Mathematics Education. He completed his Master's in Adult Education at Carroll University.
