Final Four Extravaganza Party Raffle Prize Winners Announced

The UW-Oshkosh Athletics Department would like to thank everyone who attended the 27th Annual Final Four Extravaganza Party on April 8 at the UW-Oshkosh Alumni Welcome & Conference Center.

A total of 210 $100 tickets were sold and the event raised nearly $10,000 for UW-Oshkosh Athletics. Each ticket holder was able to watch the title game of the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship, enjoy plenty of food and refreshments and have an opportunity to win a portion of the $10,125 that was given away as major cash prizes.

Several other raffles were also held. Those raffle prizes included four suite tickets (four winners) to the May 24 baseball game at Miller Park between the Milwaukee Brewers and Philadelphia Phillies, four tickets (one winner) to the Sept. 28 football game at Camp Randall Stadium between the University of Wisconsin and Northwestern University, and 18 holes of golf for four people at the Oshkosh Country Club.

UW-Oshkosh held its first Final Four Extravaganza Party in 1992. Since then a total of 5,316 tickets have been sold for the event.

Sodexo was the major sponsor of this year's event. Other event sponsors were Lee Beverage, Dietz Duo, Inc., and Chris & Liza Ruetten.
