January's "I Am A Titan" - Burk Tower

Burk Tower, mayor of the City of Oshkosh, is January's featured "I Am A Titan."

Burk has a long-time relationship with UW-Oshkosh, serving as a faculty member for 33 years and a faculty athletic representative for 19 years.

"It's the perfect size institution. It offers everything a large institution offers, and yet it's small enough that students and faculty can get involved in a lot of different activities."

“I Am A Titan” is a monthly selection of student-athletes, alumni, community members and faculty and staff members who share unique connections to the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

Being a Titan is about more than those in black and yellow on game day. It is about a connection that lives inside of each one of us.
