Mitchell, Titans Recognized For Academic Excellence

UW-Oshkosh's Ayla Mitchell (So. • New Richmond) has been named to the 2007 United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NCAA Division III Women's Cross Country All-Academic Team.

Mitchell, who owns a 3.82 cumulative grade point average as an elementary education major, placed 13th to earn All-America honors at the NCAA Division III Championship held Nov. 17 in Northfield, Minn.

The first-year transfer from the University of Minnesota also captured the individual title at the WIAC Championship held Oct. 27 and finished second at the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional held Nov. 10.

Student-athletes needed to compile a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or better and finish in the top 25 percent at the NCAA Division III regional championships in order to be eligible for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team. A total of 203 athletes were honored, including 14 from the WIAC.

The entire UW-Oshkosh women's cross country team was also recognized for its excellence in the classroom. Last fall, the Titans registered a 3.48 cumulative grade point average while finishing fifth at the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional and fourth at the WIAC Championship. A total of 141 schools were honored by the USTFCCCA, including seven from the WIAC.

For a team to be considered for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team award, they must have competed and compiled a team score at a NCAA Division III regional meet. The team must also have a minimum 3.10 team cumulative grade point average.

Mitchell Earns All-America Status At NCAA Championship

UW-Oshkosh's Ayla Mitchell (So. • New Richmond) finished 13th to earn All-America status at the NCAA Division III Women's Cross Country Championship held Saturday (Nov. 17) in Northfield, Minn.

Mitchell, UW-Oshkosh's lone representative at the national meet, completed the 6,000-meter course in a time of 21:45. It was the first appearance at the NCAA Division III Championship for Mitchell, who transferred to UW-Oshkosh this past summer from the University of Minnesota.

Sarah Zerzan of Willamette University (Ore.) captured the individual title with a time of 20:54. Liz Montgomery of State University of New York-Geneseo finished second with a time of 21:17, Alexandra Krieg of Middlebury College (Pa.) third in 21:23, Becca Jordahl of UW-River Falls fourth in 21:27 and Janet Dobyns of Luther College (Iowa) fifth in 21:28. A total of 280 runners finished the race.

Amherst College (Mass.) grabbed the team title with 120 points, while State University of New York-Plattsburgh finished second with 159 and Washington University (Mo.) third with 194. Rounding out the top-five teams were fourth-place Calvin College (Mich.) with 199 points and fifth-place State University of New York-Geneseo with 249. The meet featured 32 teams.

Titans Finish Fifth At NCAA Midwest Regional

A second-place individual listing from Alya Mitchell (So. • New Richmond) helped the UW-Oshkosh women’s cross country team finish fifth at the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional held Saturday (Nov. 10) at the Lake Breeze Golf Club in Winneconne.

The Titans will have to wait until Sunday (Nov. 11) to see if they qualify for the NCAA Division III Championship. Mitchell placed second with a time of 21:18 to clinch a spot in the upcoming NCAA Division III Championship if the UW-Oshkosh team doesn't make the trip.

Washington University (Mo.), ranked third in the NCAA Division III, owned four of the top-10 individual performers in winning the 37-team meet with 41 points. Ninth-ranked UW-Eau Claire scored 87 points to finish second and join Washington University as an automatic qualifier for the NCAA Division III Championship that will be held Nov. 17 at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn.

Remaining eligible for one of 16 at-large selections to the 32-team NCAA Division III Championship were 10th-ranked UW-Platteville, 18th-ranked UW-La Crosse and 25th-ranked UW-Oshkosh.

UW-Platteville finished third with 99 points, while UW-La Crosse placed fourth with 113 and UW-Oshkosh fifth with 221. The complete list of team and individual qualifiers for the NCAA Division III Championship will be announced on Sunday (Nov. 12).

Bringing the top-10 teams at the Midwest Regional to an end were sixth-place UW-Stevens Point with 223 points, seventh-place Wheaton College with 232, eighth-place North Central College (Ill.) with 269, ninth-place UW-River Falls with 302 and 10th-place UW-Whitewater with 325.

UW-River Falls’ Becca Jordahl finished first in the 6,000-meter race with a time of 21:05, while Washington University’s Tyler Mulkin took third in 21:26. A total of 266 runners finished the event.

Besides Mitchell, UW-Oshkosh also received scoring from Jessie Scheer’s (Jr. • De Pere) 21st-place time of 22:18, Jenny Melville’s (Sr. • Waukesha) 34th-place mark of 22:36, Jordan Clark-Mand’s (Fr. • Waupun) 80th-place clocking of 23:35 and Katie Wondra’s (Jr. • Campbellsport) 85th-place score of 23:35.

Other UW-Oshkosh representatives were Brittany Haas (Fr. • St. Charles, Ill.) and Allison Gehl (Fr. • Sherwood). Haas finished 93rd in a time of 23.47 and Gehl 101st in 23.55.

Titans Finish Fourth At WIAC Championship

Ayla Mitchell (So. • New Richmond) brought home the individual title as the UW-Oshkosh women’s cross country team placed fourth in the WIAC Championship held Saturday (Oct. 27) at the Lake Breeze Golf Course in Winneconne.

UW-Eau Claire won the team championship for the third time in school history and its first since 1985. The Blugolds compiled 44 team points to outdistance UW-Platteville’s second-place total of 49 points.

UW-La Crosse, the two-time defending champion, finished third with 77, followed by UW-Oshkosh in fourth with 121, UW-Stevens Point fifth with 131, UW-River Falls sixth with 167, UW-Whitewater seventh with 193, UW-Stout eighth with 202 and UW-Superior ninth with 253.

Mitchell completed the 6,000-meter course in 21:26.50 to nip UW-River Falls’ Becca Jordahl, who took second place in a time of 21:28.34. Mitchell is the first Titan to win the league spectacle since Liz Woodworth won back-to-back crowns in 2003 and 2004.

UW-Eau Claire had five runners place in the top 14, including Mary Palmer’s fourth-place time of 22:15.88. Molly Warner placed fifth in 22:23.84, along with Beth Lutz ninth in 22:41.65, Hannah Humbach 12th in 22:53.03 and Amber Hertz 14th in 22:55.61.

UW-Platteville’s Jessica Scott was third in 21:51.70, followed by UW-La Crosse’s Katelyn Williams sixth in 22:27.81, UW-Platteville’s Emma Dreis in seventh at 22:32.01 and Alli Tank eighth in 22:35.76, UW-Stevens Point’s Hannah Dieringer 10th in 22:43.89, UW-La Crosse’s Meghan Dugan 11th in 22:49.64 and UW-Platteville’s Eileen McGuine 13th in 22:54.16.

The top seven individuals received All-WIAC first team recognition, while runners placing eighth through 14th earned All-WIAC second team accolades.

UW-Oshkosh also had Jessie Scheer (Jr. • De Pere) finish 17th in 23:04, Jenny Melville (Sr. • Waukesha) 31st in 23:27, Katie Wondra (Jr. • Campbellsport) 38th in 23:47, Jordan Clark-Mand (Fr. • Waupun) 49th in 24:10 and Allison Gehl (Fr. • Sherwood) 54th in 24:19.

The Titans' Brittany Haas (Fr. • St. Charles, Ill.) earned 57th place in a time of 24:25, along with Shannon Madigan (So. • Green Bay) 59th in 24:29, Mallory Burk (Fr. • Athens) 69th in 24:56, Toni Morning (Sr. • Colfax) 74th in 25:08, Jenny Piskor (Fr. • Eagan, Minn.) 76th in 25:08 and Cassie Petersen (Fr. • Marinette) 82nd in 25:25.

UW-Eau Claire head coach Dan Schwamberger was named WIAC Coach of the Year, while UW-Whitewater’s Ashley Pick received the Judy Kruckman Scholar-Athlete Award.

Named to the inaugural All-WIAC Sportsmanship Team were: UW-Eau Claire’s Jenna Smith, UW-La Crosse’s Kristen Howe, UW-Oshkosh’s Scheer, UW-Platteville’s Amanda Topper, UW-River Falls’ Stacy Dekkers, UW-Stevens Point’s Kimberly Multerer, UW-Stout’s Charity Cook, UW-Superior’s Emily Dunning and UW-Whitewater’s Ashley Pick.

All nine WIAC teams return to this very same course on Nov. 10 to compete at the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional. The NCAA Division III Championship is scheduled for Nov. 17 in Northfield, Minn.

UW-Oshkosh To Host WIAC Championship

The chase for team and individual titles will commence when the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh hosts the 30th Annual Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Women’s Cross Country Championship on Saturday (Oct. 27) at Winneconne’s Lake Breeze Golf Club.

Saturday’s 6,000-meter race begins at noon and features all nine WIAC teams. The WIAC will award all-league first team honors to the top seven runners and all-league second team status to runners placing eighth through 14th.

Projected to battle for a first-place team trophy at this year’s championship are UW-Eau Claire, UW-La Crosse, UW-Oshkosh and UW-Platteville. Last year, UW-La Crosse compiled 47 points to win its second straight WIAC title, while UW-Eau Claire finished second with 52, UW-Oshkosh third with 103 and UW-Platteville fourth with 105.

Among this year’s title hopefuls, UW-Oshkosh owns a league-best 15 championships, while UW-La Crosse possesses six and UW-Eau Claire two. UW-Oshkosh last won the WIAC title in 2000 and UW-Eau Claire in 1985. UW-Platteville is seeking its first WIAC crown.

This year’s meet features four squads who classify among the elite in the NCAA Division III by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. UW-Eau Claire ranks eighth to pace all WIAC listings, while UW-Platteville ranks ninth, UW-Oshkosh 22nd and UW-La Crosse 24th.

Overwhelming candidates for this year’s individual title are sophomores Becca Jordahl of UW-River Falls and Ayla Mitchell of UW-Oshkosh. Jordahl runs at this year’s meet after finishing third a year ago, while Mitchell appears in her first WIAC Championship after transferring to UW-Oshkosh from NCAA Division I University of Minnesota.

UW-Eau Claire and UW-Platteville both have three runners who are expected to finish in the top 10 at this year’s championship. UW-Eau Claire’s cast of candidates are juniors Beth Lutz and Mary Palmer and senior Molly Warner, while UW-Platteville’s group of nominees are juniors Emma Dreis and Jessica Scott and freshman Alli Tank. Last year, Warner placed fifth, Lutz eighth and Dreis 12th at the WIAC Championship.

Also expected to finish in the top 10 at this year’s championship are senior Hannah Dieringer of UW-Stevens Point, junior Jessie Scheer of UW-Oshkosh and sophomore Katelyn Williams of UW-La Crosse. Dieringer finished ninth at the meet a year ago.

Admission to the meet is $5 per automobile. Spectators are encouraged to arrive early for the meet.

All nine WIAC teams return to this very same course on Nov. 10 to compete at the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional. The NCAA Division III Championship is scheduled for Nov. 17 in Northfield, Minn.

Clark-Mand Paces Titans At UW-Oshkosh Open

Jordan Clark-Mand (Fr. • Waupun) finished fifth to lead UW-Oshkosh in a women's cross country meet the Titans hosted Friday (Oct. 19) at the Lake Breeze Golf Course in Winneconne.

The non-scoring meet featured athletes from Milwaukee School of Engineering, Mount Mary College, North Central College (Ill.), UW-Oshkosh, UW-Parkside, UW-Platteville and UW-Stevens Point.

North Central College owned six of the top eight individual finishers, including Megan Andracki, who completed the 5,000-meter course in a first-place time of 19:23. The Cardinals also had Sarah McMillan finish second in 19:37 and Christy Adduci third in 19:41. UW-Stevens Point's Sarah Glunn took fourth place with a time of 19:43 and UW-Oshkosh's Clark-Mand fifth in 19:44.

In addition to Clark-Mand, UW-Oshkosh had Allison Gehl (Fr. • Sherwood) finish 12th in 20:15, Cassie Petersen (Fr. • Marinette) 14th in 20:18, Toni Morning (Sr. • Colfax) 16th in 20:23, Kristin Bemis (So. • Fond du Lac) 26th in 21:09, Whitney Langer (Sr. • New Richmond) 27th in 21:14, Heather Bassett (Fr. • Minocqua) 31st in 21:18 and Sarah Schettle (Sr. • Oshkosh) 58th in 24:37. A total of 63 runners finished the race.

UW-Oshkosh competed in the meet with only eight of its 17 runners. The majority of those UW-Oshkosh runners absent from the meet were resting for next Saturday's (Oct. 27) WIAC Championship at the Lake Breeze Golf Course in Winneconne.

Titans Earn Third Place At Brooks Invitational

The UW-Oshkosh women’s cross country team placed five runners in the top 47 to finish third at the UW-Oshkosh Women’s Cross Country Brooks Invitational held Saturday (Oct. 13) at Lake Breeze Golf Course in Winneconne.

Washington University (Mo.) won the event with a team score of 53 points, followed by Haverford College (Pa.) in second with 118 and UW-Oshkosh in third with 129. The College of New Jersey finished fourth with 132 while Bethel University (Minn.) took fifth place with 136. A total of 211 runners from 16 teams took part in the invitational.

Olivet Nazarene University’s (Ill.) Bethany Carr took the top individual honor with a time of 21:01.21 on the 6,000-meter course. The Titans’ Ayla Mitchell (So. • New Richmond) came in second at 21:14.55, followed by Bethel University’s Marie Borner in 21:22.62, Washington University’s Tricia Frisella in 21:30.11 and Bethel University’s Nikki Umhoefer in fifth place with a time of 21:43.10.

Jessie Scheer (Jr. • De Pere) continued UW-Oshkosh’s showing in 13th place at 22:11.93, as did Jenny Melville (Sr. • Waukesha) in 34th at 23:00.48, Katie Wondra (Jr. • Campbellsport) in 45th at 23:23.81 and Jenny Piskor (Fr. • Eagan, Minn.) in 47th with a time of 23:27.89.

The Titans’ results continued with Brittany Haas (Fr. • St. Charles, Ill.) in 77th at 24:00.76, Mallory Burk (Fr. • Athens) in 82nd at 24:11.79, Shannon Madigan (So. • Green Bay) in 86th at 24:17.23, Allison Gehl (Fr. • Sherwood) in 97th at 24:31.97 and Cassie Petersen (Fr. • Marinette) in 101st at 24:39.06.

Other UW-Oshkosh participants included Toni Morning (Sr. • Colfax) taking 113th in 24:47.04, Kristin Bemis (So. • Fond du Lac) 132nd in 25:09.48, Whitney Langer (Sr. • New Richmond) 142nd in 25:30.15 and Heather Bassett (Fr. • Minocqua) 161st with a time of 26:51.21.

UW-Oshkosh To Host Cross Country Festival

Athletes from nine nationally-ranked men's teams and four nationally-ranked women's squads will race around Winneconne's Lake Breeze Golf Course on Saturday (Oct. 13) as UW-Oshkosh hosts the Brooks Cross Country Invitational.

The 14-team women's race begins at 10:30 a.m. It features third-ranked Washington University (Mo.), 17th-ranked Haverford College (Pa.), 24th-ranked The College of New Jersey and 27th-ranked Wheaton College (Ill.).

Other teams in the women's division are Aurora University (Ill.), Bethel University (Minn.), Carroll College, Dominican University (Ill.), Elmhurst College (Ill.), Hope College (Mich.), Lake Forest College (Ill.), Millikin University (Ill.), North Park University (Ill.), Olivet Nazarene University (Ill.), UW-Oshkosh, UW-Stevens Point and UW-Whitewater.

Washington University, which finished fourth at the 2006 NCAA Division III Championship, captured last year's Brooks Invitational title with 38 points. UW-Oshkosh placed sixth with 136 points.

The top individual returning from last year's 6,000-meter race is Nikki Umhoefer of Bethel University. Umhoefer finished second a year ago with a time of 21:57. A total of 163 runners finished the race.

The 22-team men's race starts at 11:15 a.m. The list of contestants is led by second-ranked New York University, sixth-ranked Haverford College, ninth-ranked Augustana College (Ill.) and North Central College (Ill.), 13th-ranked UW-Stevens Point, 20th-ranked The College of New Jersey, 21st-ranked Wheaton College, 33rd-ranked Washington University and 35th-ranked UW-Oshkosh.

Other squads in the men's division are Aurora University, Bethel College, Carroll College, Carthage College, College of St. Scholastica (Minn.), Elmhurst College, Hope College, Lake Forest College, Macalester College (Minn.), Millikin University, North Park University, Olivet Nazarene University and UW-Whitewater.

Calvin College (Mich.) counted 37 points to claim last year's team title. New York University finished second with 69 points and UW-Oshkosh third with 114. New York University finished second at the 2006 NCAA Division III Championship.

The top runner back from last year's 8,000-meter race is Ryan Williams of New York University. Williams finished third with a time of 24:34. A total of 318 runners finished the race.

Admission to the meet is $5 per automobile. Spectators are encouraged to arrive early for the meet.

Titans Win Ripon College Invitational

Despite resting six of its top eight runners, the UW-Oshkosh women’s cross country team still managed to take first place at the Ripon College Invitational held Saturday (Oct. 6) in Ripon.

UW-Oshkosh won the six-team meet with 27 points, while Carroll College finished second with 47 and Ripon College third with 74. Completing the team rankings were fourth-place UW-Stevens Point with 103 points, fifth-place Finlandia University (Mich.) with 152 points and sixth-place Concordia University Wisconsin with 155.

UW-Oshkosh’s Jenny Melville (Sr. • Waukesha) captured individual honors by winning the 5,000-meter race with a time of 21:02. Beth Pollard of Marquette University finished second among the 64 runners with a time of 21:43.

The Titans had four other runners in the top-10 finishes as Cassie Petersen (Fr. • Marinette) placed fifth in 22:06, Brittany Haas (Fr. • St. Charles, Ill.) sixth in 22:07, Whitney Langer (Sr. • New Richmond) 10th in 22:27 and Shannon Madigan (So. • Green Bay) 13th in 22:50.

UW-Oshkosh’s list of participants also included Mallory Burk’s (Fr. • Athens) 15th-place time of 23:06, Toni Morning’s (Sr. • Colfax) 20th-place time of 23:31, Kristin Bemis’ (So. • Fond du Lac) 25th-place time of 24:16, Heather Bassett’s (Fr. • Minocqua) 27th-place time of 24:23 and Sarah Schettle’s (Sr. • Oshkosh) 52nd-place time of 27:49.

Mitchell's Strong Showing Paces Titans At Notre Dame Invitational

Ayla Mitchell (So. • New Richmond) took second place in the 214-runner field as the UW-Oshkosh women’s cross country team finished 20th at the Notre Dame University (Ind.) Invitational held Friday (Sep. 28) in South Bend, Ind.

Grand Valley State University (Mich.) won the meet with a team score of 126, followed by Liberty University (Va.) in second with 147, Santa Clara University (Calif.) in third with 164, Calvin College (Mich.) in fourth with 174 and Ball State University (Ind.) in fifth with 177. UW-Oshkosh totaled a score of 485 in the 27-team competition.

Valparaiso University’s (Ind.) Laura Rolf was the top individual finisher with a time of 17:04. Mitchell came in next on the 5,000-meter course at 17:50, along with High Point University’s (N.C.) Zsanett Kis in 17:56, Anderson University’s (Ind.) Gwen Kemple in 17:59 and High Point University’s Kali Burt in fifth place at 18:01.

Jessie Scheer (Jr. • De Pere) came in 73rd place with a time of 19:03, while Jenny Melville (Sr. • Waukesha) took 131st in 19:48 for the Titans. Three UW-Oshkosh runners finished in succession later on, with Brittany Haas (Fr. • St. Charles, Ill.), Jenny Piskor (Fr. • Eagan, Minn.) and Allison Gehl (Fr. • Sherwood) taking 150th, 151st and 152nd in 20:08.

Katie Wondra (Jr. • Campbellsport) finished 154th with a mark of 20:10 and Jordan Clark-Mand (Fr. • Waupun) 179th in 20:42 to round out the Titans’ participants.

Titans Grab Second Place At Concordia University Wisconsin Invitational

Jessie Scheer’s (Jr. • De Pere) second-place result propelled UW-Oshkosh to a second-place finish at the Concordia University Wisconsin Women’s Cross Country Invitational held Saturday (Sep. 22) in Milwaukee.

UW-Stevens Point captured the team title with a score of 19, followed by UW-Oshkosh with 68 and Concordia University Wisconsin in third place with 80. Ripon College came in fourth with 92, along with Cardinal Stritch University in fifth with 114, Maranatha Baptist Bible College in sixth with 179 and Alverno College in seventh with 194.

Scheer completed the 6,000-meter course in a time of 23:46.18, just behind the winning mark of UW-Stevens Point’s Hannah Dieringer at 23:13.32. The Pointers held the next four positions, with Ashley Woest taking third in 24:07.51, Allison Wolter fourth in 24:12.95, Kimberly Mutterer fifth in 24:20.50 and Erica Class sixth with a time of 24:28.62.

The Titans placed four other runners in the top 27, with Cassie Petersen’s (Fr. • Marinette) 14th-place time of 25:13.07, Whitney Langer’s (Sr. • New Richmond) 23rd-place mark of 25:50.04, Mallory Burk’s (Fr. • Athens) 26th-place clocking of 25:56.85 and Toni Morning’s (Sr. • Colfax) 27th-place finish in 26:04.19.

Other Titans competing in the invitational included Kristin Bemis (So. • Fond du Lac), who took 44th in 27:39.65, and Sarah Schettle (Sr. • Oshkosh), who finished 71st with a time of 31:16.79. A total of 85 runners took part in the competition.

Titans Place Sixth At Calvin College Invitational

Ayla Mitchell (So. • New Richmond) finished second in the individual competition as the UW-Oshkosh women's cross country team placed sixth at the Calvin College Invitational held Saturday (Sept. 15) in Grand Rapids, Mich.

Calvin College, which finished third at last year's NCAA Division III Championship, scored 36 points to win its own invitational. The Knights captured the title by having five of the top-12 individual finishers.

Case Western Reserve University (Ohio) placed second in the 11-team meet with 42 points. The Spartans were followed by third-place Baldwin-Wallace College (Ohio) with 93 points, fourth-place Aquinas College (Mich.) with 115, fifth-place UW-Stevens Point with 127, sixth-place UW-Oshkosh with 132 and seventh-place Ohio Northern University with 164.

Mitchell paced UW-Oshkosh by finishing the 5,000-meter course in a second-place time of 17:47. Esther Erb of Case Western Reserve University won the race with a blistering time of 17:22. Calvin College swept the next two positions as Lauren Bergstrom finished third with a time of 17:55 and Christina Overbeck fourth in 18:02. Amanda Strouse of Aquinas College ranked fifth among the 135 runners with a time of 18:04.

UW-Oshkosh's team scoring was completed by Jenny Melville's (Sr. • Waukesha) 24th-place time of 19:02, Katie Wondra's (Jr. • Campbellsport) 37th-place time of 19:27, Jordan Clark-Mand's (Fr. • Waupun) 44th-place time of 19:40 and Jenny Piskor's (Fr. • Eagan, Minn.) 45th-place time of 19:41.

The Titans also had Brittany Haas (Fr. • St. Charles, Ill.) finish 47th in 19:45, Allison Gehl (Fr. • Sherwood) 49th in 19:46, Cassie Petersen (Fr. • Marinette) 69th in 20:14 and Mallory Burk (Fr. • Athens) 77th in 20:28.

Titans Open Season With Dominating Performance

Ayla Mitchell (So. • New Richmond) ran to the individual title to lead the UW-Oshkosh women's cross country team to a first-place finish at the Ted Hedstrand Invitational held Saturday (Sept. 8) in Chicago, Ill.

UW-Oshkosh, making its 2007 debut, won the five-team meet with 23 points. Host North Park University (Ill.) finished second with 51 points, while Trinity Christian College (Ill.) placed third with 74, Lake Forest College (Ill.) fourth with 100 and Moraine Valley Community College (Ill.) fifth with 113.

Mitchell, a transfer from the University of Minnesota, completed the 5,000-meter course in a winning time of 19:36. Hannah Landecker of North Park University finished second among the 47 runners with a time of 19:54 and Jessica Jager of Trinity Christian College third at 21:04.

It was all UW-Oshkosh for the next seven places as Jessie Scheer (Jr. • De Pere) finished fourth in 21:09, Jenny Melville (Sr. • Waukesha) fifth in 21:17, Jordan Clark-Mand (Fr. • Waupun) sixth in 21:34, Katie Wondra (Jr. • Campbellsport) seventh in 21:38, Brittany Haas (Fr. • St. Charles, Ill.) eighth in 21:47, Jenny Piskor (Fr. • Eagon, Minn.) ninth in 21:48 and Cassie Petersen (Fr. • Marinette) 10th in 21:52.

The Titans also had Shannon Madigan (So. • Green Bay) finish 13th in 22:17, Allison Gehl (Fr. • Sherwood) 14th in 22:28, Mallory Burk (Fr. • Athens) 17th in 22:48, Whitney Langer (Sr. • New Richmond) 21st in 23:20, Toni Morning (Sr. • Colfax) 23rd in 23:32 and Sarah Schettle (Sr. • Oshkosh) 45th in 28:02.
