Bio

Assistant coach Will Brydon joined the UW-Oshkosh women’s volleyball staff in 2018.

Brydon served four seasons as the head girls varsity volleyball coach at Winneconne High School from 2014-17. In 2015, he led the Wolves to their first conference championship in 26 years, a regional championship and a berth in the sectional final. He previously coached junior varsity girls volleyball teams at Lourdes Academy (Oshkosh) and Oshkosh West High School.

His involvement with high school volleyball keeps Brydon well-rounded. He also has extensive experience working with youths as a club satellite co-director.

In 2016, the American Volleyball Coaches Association named Brydon as one of its Thirty Under 30 high school award winners. The award was created in 2009 to honor up-and-coming coaching talent at all levels of the sport, and in 2016 it was expanded for exclusively high school coaches.

Brydon played three years of varsity volleyball at Glenbrook North High School (Ill.) and helped his team to a state tournament appearance in 2008.

Brydon was a member of the UW-Oshkosh men’s club team from 2010-12. He was Titans’ Division 2 team captain in 2011 and 2012. Brydon received All-America honorable mention recognition in 2012 after helping UW-Oshkosh to the NCVF Division 3 national title. He earned his bachelor's degree from UW-Oshkosh in 2013.

Brydon and his wife, Liz, live in Neenah and teach at Oshkosh West High School.
