WIAC Selects Tesky As Diving Athlete Of The Week

The WIAC chose UW-Oshkosh's Danielle Tesky as its Kwik Trip Women's Diving Athlete of the Week for meets held Dec. 16 - Jan. 5.

Tesky dove to one first- and three second-place finishes as UW-Oshkosh lost a 147-92 decision to UW-Stevens Point on Jan. 3 before posting a 117-115 victory over Lawrence University on Jan. 4.

In UW-Oshkosh's home loss to UW-Stevens Point, Tesky won the 3-meter diving with a score of 199.05 while finishing second in the 1-meter diving with a figure of 215.60.

During the Titans' road win over Lawrence University, Tesky contributed a pair of second-place finishes with her scores of 227.55 in the 1- and 229.60 in the 3-meter diving categories.

Tesky has now earned the WIAC weekly award four three times this season, with the previous three citations being for the periods of Oct. 14-20, Nov. 4-10 and Nov. 11-20.

UW-Stevens Point's Anna Pilecky was named the WIAC Women's Swimming Athlete of the Week.
