Titans Sweep WIAC Swimming & Diving Athlete Of The Week Awards

UW-Oshkosh swept the WIAC Kwik Trip Women's Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week awards as Mariah Marowsky and Danielle Tesky were recognized for their performances at the Wisconsin College Showcase held Oct. 19.

Marowsky was named the league's best swimmer and Tesky the conference's top diver for the period of Oct. 14-20.

Marowsky earned three top seven finishes by placing fifth in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:58.45 and seventh in both the 50- and 100-yard freestyles with times of 25.00 and 54.62 seconds, respectively.

Tesky finished 12th in the 1-meter diving and 14th in the 3-meter diving with scores of 170.95 and 144.25, respectively.

The non-scoring meet featured NCAA Division I teams UW-Green Bay and UW-Milwaukee and UW-Oshkosh's NCAA Division III rivals Beloit College, Carthage College, Lawrence University, UW-La Crosse and UW-Whitewater.
