Richter Named WIAC Soccer Athlete Of The Week

UW-Oshkosh's Amber Richter was selected as the WIAC Kwik Trip Women's Soccer Defensive Athlete of the Week for matches held Sept. 9-15.

Richter, a defender, solidified the backfield during UW-Oshkosh's 3-1 victory over Dominican University on Sept. 14 at J. J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium.

Richter, who helped limit the Stars to just 13 shots, gave the Titans a 3-1 lead with her first collegiate goal during the 85th minute of play.

Dominican University, which participated in the NCAA Division III postseason last fall, entered the match with three consecutive shutout victories.

UW-River Falls forward Camryn Altnau was recognized as the WIAC Women's Soccer Offensive Athlete of the Week.
