Gilot Collects WIAC Gymnastics Athlete Of The Week Award

The WIAC named UW-Oshkosh's Emily Gilot as its Kwik Trip Women's Gymnastics Athlete of the Week for the period of Jan. 27 - Feb. 2.

Gilot was honored as the conference's top specialist for the week while UW-Stout's Brooke Terry was recognized as the league's top all-around performer.

Gilot took first place on the vault and shared the top finish on the uneven bars with teammate Baylee Tkaczuk as visiting UW-Oshkosh recorded a 188.55-184.275 victory over Winona State University (Minn.) on Jan. 30.

Gilot won the vault competition with a score of 9.70 and earned a grade of 9.50 on the uneven bars. Gilot also finished fourth in the floor exercise with a score of 9.525.
