UW-Stout scored nine of the game's final 10 points to pull out a 65-60 women's basketball win over UW-Oshkosh on Saturday (Feb. 18) in Kolf Sports Center. The contest was the last of the season for both teams.

UW-Oshkosh (7-18/1-15 WIAC) held a 59-56 lead after Ashley Winterfeldt's (Jr. • Hortonville) lay-up with 3:05 remaining. UW-Stout (7-18/3-13 WIAC) tallied the next four points before Alicia Tollefson (Fr. • Crystal Falls, Mich.) hit a free throw to tie the score at 60. UW-Stout then took the lead on Shelby Sterba's two foul shots with 59 seconds left.

UW-Oshkosh missed its last three shots in the closing minute, while Katelynne Folkers sank a trio of free throws to clinch the victory. UW-Oshkosh's Katie Kitzke (Jr. • South Milwaukee) made all eight of her free throws to finish the contest with a game-high 17 points. Reyzer then heated up with a pair of long-range jump shots. She turned her second three-point basket into a four-point play, tying the score at 26. UW-Stout's 18-5 scoring run ended with a three-point play from Whitney Rawdon that put the visitors up, 32-28.

UW-Oshkosh trailed 37-34 at halftime but refused to go away. After Kitzke assisted on a Wenig three-point basket, Wenig set up Kitzke for her own three-point hoop that tied the contest at 42. Tollefson later scored a basket in the lane to make it 46-46 with 12 minutes remaining.

While both teams struggled to convert from the field, the Titans knocked down four free throws to pull within 51-50. Wenig swished a mid-range jumper at the 5:37 mark to again tie the score at 55.

The Blue Devils recorded 12 steals, including five apiece by Rawdon and Kayla Windt. Rawdon totaled eight points, to go with 11 points and six rebounds from Folkers.
