Run In The Titan 5K Charity Fundraiser On July 20
Runners of all skill levels are invited to the Titan 5K in Oshkosh's Menominee Park on Saturday, July 20. The Run/Walk is hosted by UW-Oshkosh's cross country teams.
The Titan 5K will begin at 8:45 a.m. A Kiddy Quarter race of 400 meters will start at 10 a.m. Children ages 10 and under can run in the Kiddy Quarter and will receive a prize. Registration is from 7:25 - 8:25 a.m.
This event raises money for organizations that work to end the suffering of 27 million people worldwide who still live in slavery. Proceeds go to LOVE146, a non-profit organization working to abolish child trafficking and exploitation through prevention aftercare, and Free the Slaves, which helps slaves break free and changes systems that allow slavery to exist.
All pre-registrants are guaranteed a free T-shirt. Click here to register online. You can also register on race day. The cost for the Titan 5K is $20, while the Kiddy Quarter is free.
