
Nineteen Titans Qualify In 16 Events For NCAA Outdoor Championships
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.- The UW-Oshkosh men's and women's track & field teams qualified 19 student-athletes in 16 events for the 2024 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships when the final qualifying lists were release on Friday (May 17) evening.
The championships will take place at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium in Myrtle Beach, S.C. from Thursday, May 23 to Saturday, May 25. Events will begin at 11 a.m. Eastern Time on May 23 and 24 and at noon on May 25.
Four women earned six spots on the qualifying list. Megan Hunt (Jr. • Lemont, Ill.) is set to compete in the long jump and heptathlon and Brenna Masloroff (Sr. • Franklin) will throw in the shot put and hammer throw. Hunt ranks eleventh in both of her events while Masloroff sits eighth in the shot put and fourth in the hammer throw.
Cyna Madigan (Jr. • Rosendale), who holds the eighth fastest time in the 800-meter run in Division III this season will compete in the event. Amelia Lehman (Jr. • Oshkosh) qualified for the 1,500-meter run with the tenth fastest finish in the nation on the season.
On the men's side, 15 Titans will compete in 10 events and four will look to earn All-America honors in multiple events.
Londyn Little (Jr. • Columbia, Ill.) qualifier in four events; the 200-meter dash, the 4x100- and 4x400-meter relays and the long jump. He ranks 10th in the nation in the 200-meter dash as the program record holder and eighth in the long jump while the 4x100 squad sits second and the 4x400 crew is third, which also holds the school record.
The remainder of the 4x100 is made up of Davian Willems (So. • De Pere), Joey Kean (Sr. • Middleton) and Nolan Milas (Fr. • Virgil, Ill.). Rashaad Henderson (Jr. • Racine), Charlie Nolan (So. • Normal, Ill.) and Matthew Eiden (Fr. • Stevens Point).
Willems and Dylan Gramley (So. • Plainfield, Ill.) are set for the 100-meter dash as the second and 11th seeds. Willems recently broke the program record on the event on May 10 and sits second in Division III history.
Henderson will join Little in the 200-meter dash and Steven Potter will run in his third straight 1,500-meter run at the outdoor national championship.
Aden Sears (Jr. • Eureka, Ill.) will compete in the decathlon with Nolan. Nolan holds the second highest score in the country and Sears holds the 10th.
Caleb Cornelius (Jr. • Racine) and Kyle Wisniewski (Fr. • New London), who tied for third at the indoor championship this March, both enter the outdoor championship with the seventh highest mark in the nation.
Rivers, who owns both the indoor and outdoor program records, is the nation's leader in the long jump and will compete with Little for the national title on the event.
Isaiah Isom (So. • Lansing, Ill.) and Gavin Fritsch (So. • Little Chute) will represent UW-Oshkosh in the shot put and discus throw respectively.
