Lieder Chosen As WIAC Swimming Athlete Of The Week
The WIAC named UW-Oshkosh's Jarrett Lieder as its Kwik Trip Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week for events held Oct. 21-27.
Lieder won two individual events and swam on a first-place relay team during UW-Oshkosh's 148-32 road victory over Carroll University on Oct. 25.
Lieder defeated two other competitors in the 1,650-yard freestyle with his time of 17:33.52 and one other contestant in the 500-yard freestyle with his swim of 5:01.07.
Lieder also joined Michael Gerondale, Alex Jernberg and Jack Miller for a winning performance of 1:33.44 in the 200-yard freestyle relay.
UW-Eau Claire's Dylan Glumac-Berberich was chosen as the WIAC's Men's Diver of the Week.
