Titans Second To Foresters In Every Way

UW-Oshkosh finished second in all 12 events during a 103-76 loss to the Lake Forest College men's swimming & diving team on Saturday (Jan. 25) in Lake Forest, Ill.

Dalton Anderson and Zach Hogan each booked two runner-up finishes for the Titans. Anderson clocked times of 2:05.05 in the 200-meter freestyle and 2:31.93 in the 200-meter backstroke. Hogan completed the 200-meter individual medley in 2:27.16 and the 400-meter freestyle in 4:43.07.

In the short freestyle races, Brian Stoffel earned second at 50 meters in 27.67, Andrew Bores at 100 meters in 1:02.25 and Jacob Casper at 200 meters in 2:23.37. Sam Green then posted a 9:51.05 for second in the 800-meter freestyle.

Evan DuVall touched the wall second in the 200-meter breaststroke at 2:52.49, as did Patrick Keleny in the 200-meter butterfly at 2:40.71.

The Titans tallied second-place times of 4:13.85 in the 400-meter freestyle relay and 4:39.62 in the 400-meter medley relay.

UW-Oshkosh counted seven third-place finishes, including Cole Becker's marks of 2:34.66 in the 200-meter backstroke and 10:45.72 in the 800-meter freestyle.

The Titans wrap up their regular season at Ripon College on Saturday (Feb. 1).
