Titans Come In Third At UW-Eau Claire Invitational
Titans finished 1-5-6 in the 200-yard butterfly, as UW-Oshkosh placed third at the UW-Eau Claire Invitational on Saturday (Nov. 23) in Eau Claire.
UW-Eau Claire captured the event with a team score of 898. UW-River Falls tallied 329 points for second, while UW-Oshkosh marked 304 for third.
Dalton Anderson won the 200-yard butterfly in 2:07.61. Nelson Figueroa then clocked a 2:24.17 for fifth and Grant Henke a 2:42.61 for sixth.
Anderson also had the Titans' next-best finishes. He took first in the 200-yard freestyle at 1:51.17 and third in the 200-yard breaststroke at 2:24.36.
UW-Oshkosh listed fourth in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:35.42. Also scoring fourth-place results were Cole Becker in the 200-yard backstroke at 2:16.87, Andrew Bores in the 100-yard freestyle at 54.49 and Sam Green in the 1,650-yard freestyle at 18:43.12.
Tom Herrick earned fifth place in both diving events, totaling 169.05 points at one meter and 146.25 at three meters.
Brian Stoffel rounded out the fifth-place finishes with his 100-yard freestyle time of 54.69.
The Titans are off until the Rochester Invitational (Minn.) on Dec. 7-8.
