Warhawks Fly Away From Titans

Dalton Anderson, Sam Green and Tom Herrick turned in strong performances during UW-Oshkosh's 140-80 loss to the UW-Whitewater men's swimming & diving team on Friday (Nov. 15) in Whitewater.

Anderson counted the Titans' only victories. He prevailed in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 51.27 and the 100-yard breaststroke at 1:03.11.

Green earned second place in both the 500-yard freestyle at 5:31.85 and in the 1,000-yard freestyle at 11:08.92. He also teamed with Nelson Figueroa, Patrick Keleny and Brian Stoffel for a runner-up time of 1:36.07 in the 200-yard freestyle relay.

In the diving events, Herrick scored two second-place results. He tallied 175.95 points on the one-meter board and 166.85 at three meters.

The Titans' other second-place times came from Stoffel in the 100-yard freestyle at 53.95 and Zach Hogan in the 100-yard backstroke at 1:01.95.

Zach Seelman placed third in both diving competitions, scoring a 161.80 at three meters and a 151.50 at one meter. UW-Oshkosh's remaining third-place scores came from Hogan in the 200-yard freestyle at 1:57.89, Cole Becker in the 100-yard backstroke at 1:02.47 and Andrew Bores in the 100-yard freestyle at 54.63.

The Titans will compete at the UW-Eau Claire Invitational on Nov. 23.
