Anderson’s Three Wins Send Titans Past Buccaneers

Dalton Anderson won three times to lead UW-Oshkosh past Beloit College, 93-74, in a men's swimming & diving meet on Saturday (Nov. 2) in Albee Hall.

Anderson earned first place in both the 50-yard freestyle at 22.14 and the 500-yard freestyle at 4:52.63.

The Titans then captured the 400-yard freestyle relay with a time of 3:26.18. Anderson teamed with Andrew Bores, Sam Green and Zach Hogan for the victory.

Green and Hogan each tallied an individual win. Green took the 200-yard freestyle at 1:59.47, while Hogan prevailed in the 100-yard backstroke at 59.61.

UW-Oshkosh's other triumphs came from Evan DuVall in the 100-yard breaststroke at 1:07.88 and Jacob Casper in the 1,000-yard freestyle at 12:00.07.

DuVall also clocked a 1:06.29 for second place in the 100-yard butterfly. Bores finished second in the 100-yard freestyle at 52.93, as did Nelson Figueroa in the 200-yard individual medley at 2:22.90 and Val Mikitchik in the 1,000-yard freestyle at 12:24.71.

The Titans will travel to UW-Whitewater on Nov. 15.
