WRST Radio To Broadcast 11 UW-Oshkosh First-Semester Sporting Events

Award-winning WRST Radio will offer audio of 11 UW-Oshkosh sporting events during the fall semester of the 2018-19 academic year.

The first broadcast will be Sunday (Sept. 23) when the UW-Oshkosh women's soccer team hosts Concordia University Wisconsin at 2 p.m. from J. J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium.

The broadcast schedule continues for UW-Oshkosh's student-operated station on Sept. 29, when the Titans host defending WIAC champion and 2017 NCAA Division III postseason participant UW-La Crosse in women's soccer.

Other women's soccer broadcasts from J. J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium will be Oct. 10 vs. Loras College (Iowa), Oct. 17 vs. UW-Stevens Point and Oct. 20 vs. UW-River Falls.

J. J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium will also be the site of three broadcasts involving the UW-Oshkosh football team, which won the WIAC title and advanced to the semifinal round of the NCAA Division III Championship a year ago. WRST Radio will also broadcast UW-Oshkosh's football game at UW-Whitewater on Oct. 6.

The Kohl Center in Madison will be the venue for a pair of UW-Oshkosh basketball broadcasts as the Titans play exhibition games against the NCAA Division I Badgers. The men's game is scheduled for Nov. 2 and the women's contest for Nov. 4. The UW-Oshkosh men capped a third straight NCAA Division III postseason visit with an appearance in last year's national championship game while the UW-Oshkosh women have won 20-plus games during each of the past six seasons and been a postseason participant four times in the past five years.
