Titan Television Announces First-Semester Athletics Event Schedule
UW-Oshkosh's award-winning Titan Television will broadcast 14 of the school's regular-season sporting events through the end of December.
The first telecast is Saturday (Sept. 18) when the once-beaten UW-Oshkosh women's soccer team (6-1) hosts Carroll University (5-0-1) at 1 p.m. from J. J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium.
Titan Television will also show three other UW-Oshkosh women's soccer matches – Oct. 9 against UW-Stout, Oct. 23 against UW-La Crosse and Oct. 30 against UW-River Falls.
J. J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium will also be the venue for four telecasts involving the nationally ranked and defending WIAC co-champion UW-Oshkosh football team – Oct. 16 against UW-Whitewater, Oct. 23 against UW-Eau Claire, Nov. 6 against UW-Stevens Point and Nov. 13 against UW-River Falls.
Telecasts from Kolf Sports Center begin Oct. 6 when the UW-Oshkosh women's volleyball team hosts UW-Platteville. Titan Television will also televise UW-Oshkosh's volleyball match against UW-Stevens Point on Oct. 20.
Other telecasts from Kolf Sports Center feature four UW-Oshkosh basketball games, two involving the defending NCAA Division III champion men's team and two including the defending WIAC champion women's squad.
UW-Oshkosh men's basketball games will be televised against Carthage College on Nov. 20 and UW-Eau Claire on Dec. 1.
UW-Oshkosh women's basketball contests will be shown against St. Norbert College on Nov. 20 and UW-La Crosse on Dec. 4.
Titan Television will also broadcast all home WIAC & NCAA Division III postseason events in the sports of football, men's & women's basketball, women's soccer and women's volleyball.
Titan Television's basketball schedule for the months of January and February will be announced in December.
Each UW-Oshkosh televised contest can be watched online at portal.stretchinternet.com/uwosh or titan-tv.org. UW-Oshkosh students can enjoy Titan Television in the residence halls on cable channel 71.1 while Oshkosh Spectrum customers can watch Titan Television on channel 57. Viewers can also download the Cablecast Screenweave app to an Apple TV®, Roku®, or Amazon Fire TV® to watch games. Just search for Titan TV.
Titan Television, a student-operated station, has earned commendations from the National Broadcasting Society, Wisconsin Broadcasters Association, Milwaukee Press Club, Wisconsin Community Media, and Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
