Vicci Stimac is in her 11th year as the UW-Oshkosh Deputy Director of Athletics and Senior Woman Administrator for the department’s 19 sports.

Stimac is responsible for the UW-Oshkosh Athletic Department’s compliance and eligibility. She also assists in the daily operation of the department while playing a lead role in the management of conference, regional and national events hosted by the Titans.

Since arriving in 2011, Stimac has helped lead UW-Oshkosh’s efforts in hosting 10 NCAA Division III championships as well as several Division III regional and conference events. She also represents UW-Oshkosh at conference and national meetings.

Stimac came to UW-Oshkosh from Western New Mexico University, where she served as the Assistant Director of Media Relations and Senior Woman Administrator from 2007-11.

During her tenure at Western New Mexico University, Stimac assisted in the daily operations of the school's 11-sport, NCAA Division II program. She chaired the department's Gender Equity, Graduation Success and Student-Athlete Advisory committees while serving as a member of the school's Marketing and Institutional Advancement committees. Stimac also solicited corporate sponsorships, assisted in event management and directed all aspects of the sports information office.

Stimac held a variety of positions in the athletics department at NCAA Division III Finlandia University (Mich.) from 2003-07. In addition to being the Assistant Director of Athletics and Senior Woman Administrator, she also worked as the sports information director, budget manager, compliance coordinator and head women's volleyball coach.

Stimac, a Cedar Grove native, earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing in 2001 from Cardinal Stritch University, where she worked as an admissions counselor during her last three years. She also was a three-year starter for the school's volleyball team. Following graduation Stimac spent a year in Japan teaching English as a second language. She then served as the marketing communications coordinator at Ottawa University from 2002-03.

Stimac obtained a master’s degree in business administration from Western New Mexico University in 2010.

Stimac lives in Berlin with her husband, Mike, and daughter, Jovi.
