Reichenberger Collects WIAC Track Athlete Of The Week Award

The WIAC named UW-Oshkosh's Emily Reichenberger as one of its two Women's Track & Field Athlete of the Week award winners for meets held Feb. 5-11.

Reichenberger, the conference's top track participant, improved her national performance ranking in both the 60- and 200-meter dashes as UW-Oshkosh finished fourth at the Midwest ELITE Invitational held Feb. 10 in Whitewater.

Reichenberger defeated 29 other contestants in the 60-meter dash with a winning time of 7.82 seconds and 40 other participants in the 200-meter dash with a first-place effort of 25.46 seconds. Reichenberger now owns this season's fourth-fastest NCAA Division III time in the 200-meter dash and the 12th-fastest mark in the 60-meter dash.

UW-La Crosse won the eight-team meet with 158 points. The Eagles were followed by second-place University of Chicago (Ill.) with 99.5 points, third-place Washington University in St. Louis (Mo.) with 93.5, fourth-place UW-Oshkosh with 82, fifth-place UW-Whitewater with 66 and sixth-place UW-Stevens Point with 53.
