Leffler, Spicer Selected WIAC's Top Tennis Doubles Team Of The Week
The UW-Oshkosh tandem of Alyssa Leffler and Michelle Spicer were named the WIAC Women's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week for matches held Sept. 3-9.
Leffler and Spicer won both of her matches at No. 2 doubles as UW-Oshkosh recorded victories of 9-0 over Marian University and 8-1 over St. Norbert College.
In UW-Oshkosh's win over Marian University on Sept. 6, Leffler and Spicer defeated Meg Hartzell and Brenda Ordonez of the Sabres, 8-3.
During the Titans' triumph over St. Norbert College on Sept. 7, Leffler and Spicer ousted Claire Hetzel and Hannah Keller of the Green Knights, 8-2.
UW-La Crosse's Kimberly Steinert was chosen as the WIAC Singles Player of the Week.
