Titans Sweep WIAC Tennis Athlete Of The Week Awards

UW-Oshkosh swept the WIAC Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week Awards after Alyssa Leffler, Hannah Peters and Bailey Sagen were recognized for their performance during events held Sept. 25-Oct. 1.

Leffler helped UW-Oshkosh win its fifth straight match by defeating her No. 2 singles opponents from Lawrence University and UW-River Falls.

In UW-Oshkosh's 8-1 road victory over Lawrence University on Sept. 27, Leffler ousted the Vikings' Annie Harincar, 6-0, 6-1.

During the Titans' 9-0 road triumph over UW-River Falls on Oct. 1, Leffler beat the Falcons' Molly Deering, 6-0, 6-0.

Peters and Sagen also went unbeaten by winning their two contests at No. 1 doubles.

In UW-Oshkosh's victory over Lawrence University, Peters and Sagen defeated the Vikings' tandem of Lindsay Holsen and Katie Nottberg, 8-0.

During the Titans' win over UW-River Falls, Peters and Sagen outscored the Falcons' duo of Brittany Asfeld and Krista Haglund, 8-4.
