UW-Oshkosh earned five wins in singles play and two in doubles action to record a 7-2 victory over the Elmhurst College (Ill.) women's tennis team on Wednesday (March 25) in Hilton Head, S.C.

UW-Oshkosh (7-9) started play by winning two of the three doubles matches.

Bailey Sagen and Erica Van Riper shut out Nicole Darga and Hannah Vaselaney, 8-0, in the first flight, while Hannah Bostwick and Paige Ganser toppled Alexis Adams and Tori Liewergen, 8-3, in the second.

Elmhurst College (2-11) earned its first team point at No. 3 doubles as Brittany Kuehn and Lauren Kuehn edged Hannah Nauth and Jessica Stark, 9-7.

The Titans won their five singles matches in straight sets, including Sagen's 6-0, 7-5 victory over Vaselaney in the second flight and Jessica DeGroot's 6-4, 6-0 triumph over Liewergen in the third.

Other UW-Oshkosh individual winners were Waldman in the third flight, Bostwick in the fifth and Ganser in the sixth. Waldman defeated Adams, 6-0, 6-0, while Bostwick ousted Allie Moran, 6-1, 6-2. Ganser tallied a 6-2, 6-2 win over Brittany Kuehn.

Darga scored the Bluejays' only win in singles play. She upended Van Riper, 7-6, 6-4, in the first flight.

UW-Oshkosh completes its three-match trip to Hilton Head against Bethel College (Kan.) on Thursday (March 26).
