Showalter Sets School Record in 200 IM; Schiro and Smith Grab Top-8 Finishes
BROWN DEER, Wis.—School records fell on day two of the 2023 WIAC Swimming and Diving Championships for the UW-Oshkosh Titans women's swimming and diving squad.
Cadence Showalter shattered the school record in the 200 IM, clocking in at 2:12.40. The previous record of 2:13.21 was set in 1997 by Cheri Tiegs.
Francesca Schiro claimed third in the 50 freestyle, swimming a 24.10.
Brianna Smith clocked in at 5:18.88 in the 500 freestyle, taking seventh place for the Titans.
Brianna Wesenberg claimed a top-15 time in the 500 freestyle, timing in at 5:22.54.
