Halkola Chosen As WIAC Swimmer Of The Week
The WIAC selected UW-Oshkosh's McKinzie Halkola as its Women's Swimmer of the Week for events held Dec. 5-11.
Halkola won a pair of freestyle events and swam on a winning relay team during UW-Oshkosh's 134-107 loss at UW-Stevens Point on Dec. 9.
Halkola claimed both the 200-yard freestyle race with a time of 2:05.93 and the 500-yard freestyle event with a time of 5:35.15.
Halkola also helped UW-Oshkosh's 400-yard medley team swim to a winning time of 4:17.16.
UW-Stevens Point's Jackie Braun was selected as the WIAC's Diver of the Week.
