Eagles Sweep All 13 Races Against Titans

Casey Houts recorded a pair of second-place finishes during UW-Oshkosh's 138-95 setback to the UW-La Crosse women's swimming & diving team on Saturday (Jan. 11) in La Crosse.

Houts was the runner-up with her times of 1:09.57 in the 100-yard backstroke and 11:52.03 in the 1,000-yard freestyle.

The Titans totaled 11 second-place results, including Britney Hilgendorf's marks of 2:25.87 in the 200-yard individual medley and 5:42.36 in the 500-yard freestyle.

Other second-place showings came from Katie Challoner in the 100-yard breaststroke at 1:10.92, Marissa Graff in the 100-yard butterfly at 1:08.47, Sarah Gee in the 100-yard freestyle at 1:01.44 and Carissa Priebusch in the 200-yard freestyle at 2:11.62.

Sally Hesby scored 239.05 points to finish second in the three-meter diving competition.

UW-Oshkosh placed second in both relays, clocking a 2:06.86 in the 200-yard medley and a 4:07.87 in the 400-yard freestyle.

Paige Burgess contributed a pair of third-place performances. She marked times of 1:02.29 in the 100-yard freestyle and 6:10.15 in the 500-yard freestyle.

The Titans host the UW-Oshkosh Swimming Invitational on Saturday (Jan. 18) in Albee Hall.
