Titan Trio Chosen For WIAC All-Time Team
UW-Oshkosh's Rachel Heitkamp, Renee Porter and Cheri Tiegs have
been named to the Wisconsin
Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) All-Time Women's
Swimming & Diving Team. The league recognized 32 women as
part of its centennial anniversary celebration.
Heitkamp (2001-04) was voted the Diver of the Meet at both the
2003 and 2004 NCAA Division III Championship. She won the one- and
three-meter diving events at the 2004 NCAA Division III
Championship after finishing second in both categories the previous
year. Heitkamp (Mequon • Homestead High School) earned five
All-America awards while winning five WIAC titles.

for the Titans during the 2001 and 2005 seasons. She earned three
All-America citations, including one with her third-place finish in
the 50-yard freestyle at the 2005 NCAA Division III Championship.
Porter is a two-time WIAC champion in the 50-yard freestyle,
100-yard freestyle and 100-yard backstroke events.
Tiegs (1994-97) excelled in the backstroke and won titles at 100
and 200 yards during the 1996 NCAA Division III Championship. She
earned two additional All-America awards with finishes of fourth in
the 100-yard backstroke and seventh in the 200-yard medley relay at
the 1997 NCAA Division III Championship. Tiegs (West Allis •
West Allis Central High School) was a part of seven WIAC titles,
including five individually.

The WIAC is recognizing the outstanding individuals from the
league's 100-year history. All-time teams are being selected in
those men's and women's sports that have been classified as
"championship" sports at some point since 1913. Additional teams
will be released on a weekly basis throughout much of the 2011-12
academic year.
All-time team members will receive certificates
from the conference and it is hoped that most, if not all, of the
recipients will be in attendance or represented at the WIAC
Centennial Banquet in Madison on Aug. 4, 2012.
