Elliott Named WIAC Women's Soccer Player Of The Week

UW-Oshkosh midfielder Robyn Elliott was selected as the WIAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for matches held Oct. 6-12.

Elliott scored the winning goal as UW-Oshkosh remained unbeaten in WIAC play (3-0 record) with a 2-0 victory over UW-River Falls on Oct. 11.

Elliott got the Titans going with a goal 27 minutes (26:31) into the contest. Her fourth goal of the season was a 15-yard kick lofted over the UW-River Falls goalkeeper.

Elliott didn't score on any of her four shots attempted during UW-Oshkosh's 3-0 loss to seventh-ranked Wheaton College (Ill.) on Oct. 8.

Defender Sierra Becker of UW-Whitewater was recognized as the WIAC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
