Stair Chosen As WIAC Golfer Of The Week

UW-Oshkosh's Laura Stair was named the WIAC Women's Golfer of the Week after winning the individual title in a 10-team tournament the Titans hosted Sept. 5-6 at the Oshkosh Country Club.

Stair placed first among the 57 golfers in the UW-Oshkosh Invitational with 157 strokes, 11-over par. Aided by three birdies and 20 pars, Stair posted daily scores of 76 and 81. UW-Oshkosh's Kayla Priebe finished second to Stair by just one overall stroke.

UW-Oshkosh won its season-opening event with a 36-hole score of 646. The Titans claimed their first UW-Oshkosh Invitational title since 2005.

Two-time defending champion Viterbo University finished second in the tournament with 681 strokes and UW-Eau Claire third with 707.
