WIAC Women's Basketball Teams “Playing For A Cause”

UW-Oshkosh and the seven other Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) women's basketball programs will participate in a "Playing For A Cause" campaign at one of its home games during the 2019-20 season.

Over the past two seasons, the eight WIAC teams have generated $28,151.90 in donations towards worthwhile "causes".

Below are the eight contests that will have the "Playing For A Cause" theme. Activities will take place at the game to raise awareness for the "cause" being supported.

Jan. 25 • UW-Stevens Point at UW-Stout (Amanda Geissler Memorial Fund)

Jan. 31 • Mount Mary University at UW-River Falls (Samaritans Feet)

Feb. 5 • UW-Oshkosh at UW-Eau Claire (Shoot For A Cure)
Feb. 5 • UW-Platteville at UW-La Crosse (Play4Kay)

Feb. 8 • UW-Eau Claire at UW-Stevens Point (Play4Kay)

Feb. 12 • UW-Stevens Point at UW-Oshkosh (Pink Night)

Feb. 19 • UW-Oshkosh at UW-Whitewater (Play4Kay)

* - UW-Platteville held its Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer event on Dec. 20 against Lakeland University.
