WIAC Selects Campbell As Basketball Player Of The Week

The WIAC named UW-Oshkosh forward Eliza Campbell as its Women's Basketball Player of the Week for contests held Jan. 8-14.

Campbell averaged 16 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists as UW-Oshkosh earned road victories of 67-47 over UW-Stout on Jan. 10 and 69-62 over UW-River Falls on Jan. 13.

Campbell totaled 32 points by converting 10 of 23 (43.5 percent) shots from the field and all nine free throws. She also made 3 of 8 (37.5 percent) 3-point shots while compiling five rebounds, three assists, two steals and one blocked shot.

In UW-Oshkosh's win over UW-Stout, Campbell scored 12 points, grabbed one rebound and tallied two steals in 24 minutes of action. She became the 21st Titan to surpass 1,000 career points when she converted a three-point play with 61 seconds remaining to increase her four-year total to 1,002 points in 101 games played.

During the Titans' victory over UW-River Falls, Campbell scored 20 points, retrieved four rebounds and compiled two assists in 28 minutes of activity.
