Kuehl Chosen As WIAC Basketball Player Of The Week

UW-Oshkosh forward Katelyn Kuehl has been selected as the WIAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for contests played Nov. 17-23.

Kuehl averaged 11.5 points, 6 rebounds and 2.5 steals as UW-Oshkosh defeated Viterbo University, 90-44, on Nov. 18 and Loras College (Iowa), 76-64, on Nov. 22.

Kuehl totaled 23 points by shooting 83.3 percent (10-12) from the field and 50 percent (1-2) from the free-throw line. She converted 2-of-3 three-point shots while compiling 12 rebounds, five steals and three assists.

Against Viterbo University, Kuehl scored 11 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Kuehl made all five of her shots from the field and one of her two free throws.

Against Loras College, Kuehl tallied 12 points, four rebounds and two steals. She was 5-of-7 shooting from the field, including 2-of-3 behind the three-point arc.

Guard Skylar Cameron of UW-La Crosse was named the WIAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week.
