WIAC Selects Wilburn As Track & Field Athlete Of The Week

The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference picked UW-Oshkosh junior Jonathan Wilburn as one of its two Kwik Trip Men's Track & Field Athlete of the Week award winners for meets held Feb. 15-21.

Wilburn, the league's top field performer of the week, defeated six other triple jump contestants with his nation-leading measurement during UW-Oshkosh's non-scoring dual meet at UW-Whitewater on Feb. 19.

Wilburn, a two-time NCAA Division III indoor All-American who was competing in his first meet of the season, won the triple jump with a distance of 48-11. UW-Whitewater's C.J. Pfeil finished second to Wilburn with a skip of 47-0 3/4.

Wilburn was among seven Titans who entered this season's Division III top-15 performance list against the Warhawks.

EJ Kruse of UW-Eau Claire was named the WIAC Men's Track Athlete of the Week.
