UW-Oshkosh's Jordan Carpenter is the top seed in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and Naji Allan and Ryan Powers will compete in three events apiece to highlight the Titans' entrants at the 2016 NCAA Division III Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championship on May 26-28 in Waverly, Iowa.

UW-Oshkosh, ranked seventh in the NCAA Division III computer rankings by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Association (USTFCCCA), will be represented by 10 athletes in a total of 10 events at the national championship to be hosted this weekend by Wartburg College (Iowa) at Walston Hoover Stadium. North Central College (Ill.) heads in to the national championship ranked first by the USTFCCCA. Following the Cardinals are second-ranked UW-La Crosse, third-ranked UW-Whitewater, fourth-ranked UW-Eau Claire and fifth-ranked UW-Platteville.

UW-Oshkosh finished in 39th place at last year's championship with seven points.

Carpenter, the WIAC champion this season, leads the field in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with his qualifying time of 8:56.23, which is more than two seconds faster than the second-seeded time of 8:58.29 established by Adam Togami from Wabash College (Ind.).

Baehman, who finished fourth in the shot put at last year's national meet, had a qualifying distance of 57-10 1/2, which trails only the toss of 58-3 1/4 by Corey Burt from Whitworth University (Wash.).
