Baehman Earns WIAC Field Athlete Of The Week Award
The WIAC has chosen UW-Oshkosh's Zachary Baehman as its Men's Field Athlete of the Week. The award was for track and field meets held April 21-27.
Baehman recorded this season's fourth-best NCAA Division III shot put measurement at the prestigious Drake Relays held April 23-26 in Des Moines, Iowa.
Baehman launched the shot put a distance of 56-0 1/2 to place 10th in the event. Curtis Jensen of Illinois State University took first place with a measurement of 63-3 3/4, while Chukwuebuka Enekwechi of Purdue University (Ind.) finished second at 62-1 3/4.
Matt Scott of UW-Eau Claire was named the WIAC Track Athlete of the Week.
